In Pototan, Iloilo, Synergeia joined Mayor Lazaro, school heads, teachers, parents, and barangay leaders to honor the tireless work of educators on Teachers’ Day. The celebration spotlighted a recent Proof of Concept (POC) in Iloilo, born from Edcom 2’s call for innovation and accountability. What began as a reading experiment evolved into a powerful demonstration of how empowered teachers and committed school heads can transform learning outcomes. Synergeia’s technology enabled local governments to track reading proficiency, allocate resources wisely, and respond with empathy and precision to the real needs of learners.

The heart of the POC was a simple but profound story: teachers from towns like Lemery and Guimbal came together with one goal—help children become confident readers. With focused training, collaborative planning, and formative assessment tools, these educators created classrooms filled with laughter, curiosity, and growth. The results weren’t instant magic—they were the product of sustained teamwork, reflection, and trust. When teachers were given space to lead, learners flourished.

The POC revealed four key practices that drove success: collaborative lesson planning through Learning Action Cells, short-cycle planning focused on learning goals, formative assessments to guide instruction, and data-driven evaluation led by school heads. These practices turned classrooms into hubs of innovation and care.
